Studio The Future in the last 9 years has established 7 different artist in residency programs, and has helped create various others. During this period they have been confronted by the sheer lack of knowledge or willingness to understand what happens outside of the metropolitan areas. In order to bring this a bit more into focus, they documented their journey through 4 different locals in Japan where they are currently actively establishing new projects or collaborations.
