“The Kikuchi father and son of Kikuchi Paper Company, the only company that continues to make paper in the area where Izumi paper was born. Mr. Shimizu makes wood carvings of the Uwajima bull demons that have been popular in Uwajima for centuries. Gen Kono, a 27-year-old woodworker who continues to create works in the place where he was born and raised. Mr. Masataka Nakata of Nakata Kiln, who creates pottery every day surrounded by the rich nature in Tobe Town, Iyo County.
